Plan Your Visit
We’re so glad you’re planning your visit to Faith Welland and we’re really looking forward to meeting you! You might have some questions about what to expect on a typical Sunday, so we’ve provided some answers to common questions below. If you have kids and would like to register them ahead of time, or would like to let us know that you are planning your visit, make sure to click the grey button below to Let Us Know You’re Planning Your Visit!
Services start at 10am on Sunday mornings (and you can arrive well before 10am, if you’d like to). When you arrive, you’ll find:
✺
Lots of parking, with a parking lot that goes around the building, with multiple entrances to the church. If needed, we even have an overflow parking lot next to the church on Fitch St. (it has a sign and a little bridge to the church so you don't have to walk too far).
✺
People who are like you, and people who are different from you, too. Some people wear jeans and t-shirts, others wear suit jackets, and others wear shorts and shirts. Some are born and raised in Welland, others have travelled the world and arrived here.
✺
Friendly volunteers wearing red welcome shirts or badges will greet you at the doors and are looking forward to meeting you and helping everyone find the information they need (including how to find your way around the building).
✺
A Connect Centre in the lobby, where we have friendly volunteers with a gift waiting for you for your first Sunday at Faith. They’re also great people to talk to about programs, events, and other things happening at Faith Welland.
✺
A Kids Check-In centre in the lobby, so your children can experience a Sunday morning experience designed for their growing hearts and minds.
✺
Great music that sounds like the music you can hear on the radio with lyrics that help you say the things to God that are in your heart and are in line with a long history of faithful songwriters, going back as far as people in the Bible like King David or Moses.
✺
Speakers who share what the Bible teaches in a way that you can hear, understand, and even put it into practice in a way that helps you and the people around you.
✺
A café after the service where the coffee and tea are always free and you can have a chance to hang out and talk with your friends, family, or some of the people you will meet.
