Groups to LIFT your Mind

The Apostle Paul wrote to some people in the Greek city of Philippi that we should think about whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, or praiseworthy. God cares about your mind too, not just your heart or soul, and these groups are designed with this idea in mind!

These groups will help address questions like: What does God do? Who is God? How does God feel about us? What does Jesus mean when he talks about salvation or being born again? What is a Holy Spirit? What is eternal life?

We firmly believe that the Bible is the best source and starting point to explore these very questions. It doesn't matter if you're a firm believer in the validity of the Bible, or if you're more of a skeptic — if you find yourself wrestling with these questions, then these groups will be perfect for you!

Below you'll find groups that were created to LIFT your Mind, and even some recommendations if you'd like to start your own group to LIFT the Mind.

Alpha

Do you have questions about Christianity? Maybe you have a friend who has questions? Alpha is the perfect opportunity to come together, drink some coffee/tea, have some pie, and enjoy asking those questions! Thursdays at 6:30pm beginning September 29th, 2022

Irresistible

This group is based on the book of the same name by Andy Stanley that takes a fresh look at the earliest Christian movement to reveal what made the new faith so compelling...and what we need to change today to make it so again. This group has limited space, so please contact us if you're interested.

Interested in starting a group to LIFT your Mind?

The Bible covers a lot of ground, so if you don't have a preferred subject in mind, we would be more than happy to recommend some good materials for starting a theological group. If you do have a preferred book or subject to study, let us know in the message field so we can look it over and get in touch with you.

Suggested book studies for those who don't have a preference:
The Purple Book
The Holy Spirit by John Bevere
The Case For Christ by Lee Strobel
Heaven by Randy Alcorn
A New Humanity: A Walk Through The Letter Of Ephesians by Luciano Lombardi
