Our mission

It's our vision to produce followers of Jesus who make an unmistakable difference in our neighborhoods, our city and our world. And as followers of Jesus it is our mission to bring life!

"I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."  - John 10:10

We are...

  • Sharing in the life of God
  • Living a shared life with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ.
  • Sharing in the lives of each other
  • Doing life together.
  • Sharing in the life of our community
  • Not an exclusive club, but a gift to the City of Welland.
  • Here to serve

Focused on Family

This means we place high value on the family and each member's role and responsibility as they grow, mature and support one another in a Christ centered relationship.

  • Relevant ministries that meet the needs for all areas of family life.
  • Our ministries enhance family health through content and scheduling. We strive to create opportunity for Christian community.
  • We provide support structures for families.

Authentic in Relationships

We value people. Therefore we nurture an environment where grace, growth, truth and accountability are foundational.

  • No one here is perfect. No pretending, just be yourself. It’s OK to fail. You can ask questions without fear of being judged.
  • We can love each other even in conflict.
  • We’re here to grow together.

Intentional in Mission

We understand why we're here. We will equip, and resource people to effectively lead and accomplish the work of local and global missions.

  • We have a simple, clear and relational discipleship process.
  • We do our best to make the gospel highly accessible.
  • We engage in strategic projects to reach people in our neighbourhoods, our city and our world.

Trustworthy in Leadership

We value godly leaders. People who are approachable, accountable, capable, committed and trustworthy servants who follow Jesus Christ as the supreme example.

  • We do our best to model and teach others that no one is perfect, we’re all in the process of becoming more like Christ.
  • We will only appoint proven leaders and are willing to address issues.
  • We strive to create an environment of respect and appreciation for existing leaders.
  • We're passionate about equipping future leaders for ministry.
  • We are committed to financial integrity.

Healthy in Spirituality

We value an authentic, inclusive and Christ-like Pentecostal experience.

  • Our approach is to embrace balanced and biblically sound theology.
  • We actively embrace the practice of the spiritual gifts. (according to 1 Corinthians chapters 12-14)
  • Our faith expresses itself practically through relationship, community events and social responsibility.
  • We do everything we can to create an environment where people can experience God.

We are a Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada church. In a nutshell, here's where we stand on the important stuff.

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:15-16).
  • We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, Mark 12:29).
  • We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His death, resurrection, ascension (Isaiah 7:14, Romans 8:34, Acts 1:10).
  • We believe that the only way to be cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ (1 John 5:10, Romans 10:13-15).
  • We believe in baptism by immersion (Matthew 28:19).
  • We believe in divine healing (Isaiah 53:4, Matthew 8:16-17, James 5:13-14).
  • We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:4, 10:44-46, 15:8-9).
  • We believe in the present day operation of the spiritual gifts. Wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment, speaking in and interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12, 13, 14).
  • We believe in the redeeming power of the Holy Spirit which enables a believer to live a holy life (Hebrews 12:14, 1 Peter 1:15-16).
  • We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ (Acts 24:15, Luke 14:14, Revelation 19:7-9).
