Missions

“Go and make disciples of all nations...”, (Matt 28:19).

At Faith Welland, we are all about making disciples, whether it is right here in Welland, our own “Jerusalem”, or to the four corners of the earth. Jesus’ command is for each one of us who knows Him; it is for each one of us to let others know about His love and grace, and to help them grow in that love and grace. Because most of us are not called to other countries, we support missionaries who are sent to other nations. We also send short-term missions teams to help our missionaries on the field with practical help, (building schools, orphanages, homes), and by doing children’s, men’s and women’s ministry. We update the congregation about the missionaries we support, and plan missions banquets and conferences. Stay tuned for upcoming missions trips!

Our Missionaries

Faith Welland supports missionaries worldwide thanks to your continued support!

Take some time to read about our missionaries and what they're doing to share the Word of God.

  • Terry & Melissa Bone

    BANGLADESH

Terry lives in Grimsby, ON, with his wife, Melissa, and travels to Bangladesh several times a year. He conducts pastors’ conferences and leadership training with one of the fastest growing indigenous church movements in the history of this nation. Growth has significantly outpaced the leadership training, with recent miracles increasing the rate of church growth even further.

  • MIKE

Global Worker in the Turkic World

Mike has been serving in Central Asia and the Middle East since 2002.  Currently he lives in a country in the Turkic world primarily as a church planter and leadership mentor.  His country of service is one of the least reached countries per captia in the world with less than 0.0001% of the population claiming to be Christian. Mike moved there in 2008 and started several churches with his late wife Cathy.  His vision is for multiplication of leadership and church planting throughout the Turkic world.

  • MISTY & JAMIE duggan

    KENYA

Jamie and Misty along with their 4 Children; Kayleigh, Kaleb, Judie and Lucas are currently in Kisumu, Kenya, serving at the Village of Hope (VOH) in Kenya! The mission of Villages of Hope - Africa is to bring lasting hope to children at risk so they can embrace adulthood and become contributing members of society. VOH provides education, nutrition, health care and shelter for orphans and vulnerable children. Their roles at VOH will be Development Liaison Officer and Administrative Assistant, filling needed roles at the village including assisting with new building projects and the Child Care Plus sponsorship program. They will be contributing to overall spiritual development and promoting Christian family values at VOH and the surrounding community. Their desire is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, being vessels of His great love for all of His children. James 1:27 says "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

  • Don and Marie-José Mann

    SOUTH AFRICA

Don and MJ live in Pretoria, SA. They use Pretoria as a hub to travel across the entire Continent. Their ministry consists of three keys. 1. CLI (Commissioning a Lifestyle of Integrity) which moves beyond anti-corruption programs and a promotes pro-integrity lifestyle. 2. BCA (Bridging China and Africa) is reaching the over one million Chinese who live and work in Africa. The Bridge Cultural Centre in Zambia was offically opened in March 2017. 3. The school is now moving into surrounding townships where 62% of South Africans live and up to 90% of the women are unemployed.

  • Ray, Margi and Jeff Bradbury

    ARGENTINA

It is so exciting to see what God is doing while we reach deep into the downtown core of the Federal Capital of Argentina in obedience to the Great Commission of Jesus. We love this city of 14 -15 million people, and thoroughly enjoy the daily challenge. We are a missionary family called of God to plant a strong, relevant, vibrant church that is committed to declaring the message of the Gospel to this great city. We believe that no one is beyond the reach of His incredible love and that God alone has the power to change lives. We know that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the answer for a needy world.

  • RAN Workers (Restricted Access Nations)

RAN's purpose is to make Spirit-filled disciples and plant multiplying fellowships of indigenous believers, particularly where a non-missionary identity and pioneer approaches/creative strategies are required. The political reality is that many nations in the world restrict access to the gospel for the people within its borders. The mission remaining, there are 6,900 unreached people groups in our world. These groups lack enough followers of Christ and resources to evangelize their own people (defined as less than 2% Evangelical or 5% Christian).
