faith worship

We, as the worship community at Faith Welland have a mandate to above all minister to the Lord with our gifts, not just at our gatherings but in our every day life. We crave personal spiritual growth through solitude, the study of scriptures and through prayer. We aim to serve our community of Christ followers joyfully, putting other's needs above our own in love. We are friends, there for each other in the good times and bad. We are a community of musicians and artists who are passionate about "excellence" not so that we can put on a good "show," but so that we can make God the focus of our gatherings without unnecessary distraction.

worship team expectations

Once a part of a team, we choose to run our practices in a rehearsal style. What this means for our team members is that we have high expectations that each individual come to a rehearsal on time and prepared, knowing the music and comfortable with your particular part(s). That way we can spend our time uniting our parts and honing our gifts rather than trying to learn the music.

Worship Rehearsals:

Thursdays 7:15 - 9:30pm / Devotionals 7.15pm-7.45pm

Sunday Pre-service practice- 8.15am- 10.00am

process to get involved

Our process is “formally informal.” We typically ask people to be a part of our weekly worship gatherings for three to six months prior to joining the worship team. We want you to feel confident that this is where God wants you to be and that this is, in fact, your church home before you begin serving. We ask that you sit in on a few different rehearsals to get better acquainted with our teams and how they function.

When you're ready to join our ministry, contact Pastor Sunil,  then fill out the WORSHIP MINISTRY APPLICATION FORM.

Pastor Sunil will set up a time to sit down with you to get to know you better, to hear you sing/play in a casual and informal setting, and talk to you about our many worship team ministry areas where you can best serve.

Currently, our Sunday morning worship teams are on a set rotation and full. However, don’t let that deter you from getting involved.
